Setup and Connect the VideoCoin Network to MetaMask

Navigate to the MetaMask app and access your wallet

Click the Account icon on the top right to access the drop-down menu and select Settings

Click Add Network

In this settings menu, fill in the network details, see the steps below.

Add a network

Add a Network:

1. Give a network name of your choice. For example "VideoCoin"

2. Add new New RPC URL: https://videocoin.network/rpc

3. Set currency symbol: VID

4. Set the Block Explorer URL to https://explorer.videocoin.network/

5. Set the ChainID. The VideoCoin chain ID can be detected by using the following procedure:

   1. Enter an arbitrary ID (example 999)

   2. Select Save

   3. MetaMask will show you an error that the data detected Chain ID is 1

   4. Now enter Chain ID as 1 and click Save

   5. MetaMask will connect to the VideoCoin Network

MetaMask is now connected to the VideoCoin Network. The VideoCoin Network can be seen in the list of Networks as seen below.

Setup and Connect the VideoCoin Network to MyEtherWallet(MEW)

Note: Connecting MEW to a custom network require approval through a service request. This function will be available soon.

Step 1: Access your wallet by choosing the desired method of access.

Step 2: On your wallet’s overview page, you will see the Network section in the upper right-hand corner. Select the VideoCoin Network.

Step 3: Add a custom network and enter the following information:

• Network name: VideoCoin

• Add new New RPC URL: https://videocoin.network/rpc

• Set currency symbol: VID

• Set the Block Explorer URL to https://explorer.videocoin.network/

• Set the ChainID to 1
